WakeMed Heart & Vascular - Cardiology - Six Forks

Cancelled my appointment due to being out of network and didn't inform me at all. Was still sent an estimate and was ready to pay out of pocket, only to be told my appointment had been cancelled. I would have appreciated better communication.

Terrible experience at both clinics on Six Forks Road - lack of compassion, poor communication, and mismanagement of care. I strongly advise against seeking care from either Dr. Padma Hari or Dr. Englehart. As a patient with a serious heart condition, I expected professionalism and support -- instead, I was met with judgment, cold demeanor, and repeated errors in my care. Dr. Hari made false assumptions about my birth control during an unplanned pregnancy and documented incorrect information in my chart. I do not take a pill; I use a vaginal ring -- which she dismissed while showing zero compassion for my situation. Her attitude made a very emotional experience even worse, and my husband was appalled by her treatment. Dr. Englehart's office was no better. The nurses I spoke to were consistently rude, rushed me off the phone, and clearly did not read my messages thoroughly. Despite explaining that my hCG level was 37, they set up appointments only to cancel them last-minute -- for the third time -- without regard for my time, health, or job. This level of care is dangerous and unacceptable. I've transferred my care to Duke Health and will be filing formal complaints. Patients deserve better than what these offices offer.

Had a great experience with Angie and Mike! Both were very pleasant, thoughtful, and kind. They provided water, bathrooms were clean and the facility was nice. Angie was funny and we had a great conversation during the echo. Mike was great during my time on the treadmill as well. Front desk staff was accommodating as well. Highly recommend.

I am originally from Georgia I moved to North Carolina how about 2 years ago. WakeMed was the best hospital that my family could have chosen for me due to my extreme hospitalization and sickness they were caring, very concerned, and informational to my family as I was in a coma for 19 days. I thank God for the nurses and staff there they really ROCK!!!!

Jake T. Was the gentleman who did my echo test on April 9th at your Six Forks Rd. location. In my 64 years of having different scans and tests I can truly say this was the most comfortable and informed I have ever been. Jake was very personable and professional. He took the time to show me about my heart and how it works. He answered any questions that I had and he made sure that I knew what he was going to do next and why he was doing it. It was fascinating and Jake was so knowledgeable. The fact that he took the time to educate me about my heart meant so much to me. In an age of People rushing through things and trying to get To the next patient, This was a welcome change. In my opinion, he deserves the highest recommendation and reward for doing such a good job. Thank you so much.
