We would give Dr. Kim 10 stars if we could! We were on vacation and my dad ended up needing a 7 bypass surgery. He explained everything to us and took so much time making sure we understood everything. Knowing we were from Ohio and hours away from home he made us a lot more comfortable with the bad situation we were dealt with. Thank you again Dr Kim and the amazing staff at carolina east!

After being diagnosed with possible lung cancer I was sent for a pet scan 20 days before my scheduled office visit. I called the office 3 times requesting results of the scan as I was very anxious about the results. Each time I was either told they would give Dr. Kim the message or he usually reviews results during visit. I told his staff please not make me wait the almost 3 weeks and Dr. Kim or anyone from his staff was sympathetic enough to give me a return call. I highly recommend you consider using a different more professional, more sympathetic surgeon. By thebway, A different Doctor called and reviewed my pet scan results within 24 hours and unfortunately I do have lung cancer and possibly tongue cancer which allowed me to immediately get an appt with an ENT doctor about my possible tongue cancer.

I would absolutely recommend Dr Kim and his staff. Dr Kim performed a quadruple bypass on me in May and cannot thank him and his whole staff enough for the care and expertise I received there. Thank you!
