Dr. Halligan is amazing. He performed one bypass and a tricuspid repair. While the recovery was difficult, the results were surprisingly wonderful. I feel so much better than before the procedure and have much more energy.

Dr. Halligan is a gifted surgeon. He is very professional and knowledgeable in his field. Dr. Halligan performed the riskiest surgeries done today, Ivor Lewis open surgery, on me in August 2019. He was confident, skilled, and very caring. He is a cardiac thoracic surgeon who you can feel confident in putting your life in his hands... I did. His aftercare and staff are the best also! He is not arrogant, and takes whatever time needed with you on appointments. Doctors such as he are hard to find! I feel very blessed to have found him.

I had quadruple bypass surgery on December 4th, 2023 by Dr. Halligan. He was professional and very courteous. I wouldn't want to have surgery again, but if I did, I would certainly want him! He is a very knowledgeable and gifted surgeon!

A 'Shout Out' to Dr. Halligan, his team and to Carolina East Medical Center re: #4945, CABgX3 - 2nd October, 2017. It's now 5 years (+3 days!) since Dr, Halligan and his team carried out my triple by-pass operation in Carolina East Medical Center. It changed my life - I've got back a short while ago from hiking at 9,000ft in Nevada, I've just driven from Las Vegas back to New Bern, I do 3 miles a couple of times a week on the treadmill + the upkeep of a house and yard! I'm 77yrs old but that's only a number! Thanks Dr. Halligan!

Dr. Halligan is an excellent Dr. I felt totally at ease after my appointment with him and was impressed by his professionalism and dedication, after my triple bypass surgery his follow up and care was excellent, I can not say enough about this man.
