Do everything you can to avoid this weird doctor. If you're local to Morganton, it is well worth going to Charlotte instead. We have spent three months with no answers and no interest or support from this office. Here are a few of my family's experiences: 1. This doctor cannot read or run an effective echocardiogram. As a result, he caused my family member to get a very invasive heart surgery, told us it was an emergency ("said he was 99.9% sure"there was a blockage) and at great expense. The operating surgeon at Grace Hospital said nothing was there. 2. Extremely inappropriate, weird and condescending guy. Dismisses you. Doesn't listen to your problems, not interested in solving your issue - more interested in how he can maximize his billing. 3. Cancelled appointments upon arrival and without notice. My family member has no care plan in place, no proactivity from the doctor to find a solution, and now months of fear.

Had my daughters first visit today. Transferring fTom another cardiologist. We were taken care of well. He listened to and answered all of our questions and concerns. Very good bedside manner.
