Eric Carter, PA-C

I waited a short time in the waiting room before being called back to the exam room. The nurse who took me to the waiting room was very friendly and efficient. I was there for my wellness exam and she performed all tests to complete my wellness exam. Eric Carter came right in to see me. I have always enjoyed Eric's easy manner. I have been his patient since 2018 when my husband and I moved to Leland. The doctors at that time weren't seeing new patients so I made a "get acquainted " appointment with Eric. I find Eric easy to talk to and if I have a problem, he will investigate after discussing it with me. I see him every 6 months since I am Type 2 diabetic and have blood work prior to seeing Eric. I think Eric is very knowledgeable and up to date. He is a caring practitioner.

When I was having cataract surgery, my blood pressure shot up high and my surgeon required me to get clearance from my primary care doctor to make sure nothing was amiss. My doctor was out of town so I was able to see Eric Carter who usually sees my wife. They worked me in and after listening to the surgeon's concerns and a thorough checkup I was cleared. This practice really cares and they do listen and do a complete screening of your health and this impressed me because they had to work me in that day. They put the patient's health and well being first. This is why we trust this practice and have been with them for years. Eric Carter is friendly, professional and really cares about his patients!

I saw Eric for a review of my labs the week before; it went as expected. He also addressed a head & chest condition I'd been fighting for a week, and advised me to pick up three OTC items (I had previously been given prescriptions for three very expensive meds that did very little for me). The items Eric recommended worked better and right away.

I've seen Eric Carter since his practice in Brunswick Forest opened. - about 15 yrs. I've seen both good and not so good at this office . I appreciate the staff - 99% are efficient and courteous and compliment Eric's work. I say that Eric has been thru many changes with me and I appreciate his care. There were times I felt he didn't care and he wasn't taking me seriously- I am seeing a change in his work and attitude( maybe mine also). Any patient wants for their doctor to be updated on what happens- I hope that it becomes a priority to do this- it was at first. Eric Carter is by far the best PA we have ever had. We have been with Eric and his excellent staff for 10 years. Eric is knowledgeable and takes action on the input we provide. He is willing to refer us to specialists as needed and his follow-up is always amazing. He performs better or on par with any MD we have had in the past. Bill and Melissa Carlisle
