Dr. Grant was absolutely wonderful. Got some hard to take news, but Dr. Grant explained the condition in a very professional and understanding way. We give Dr. Grant 5 stars and would recommend him to anyone. The duke university cardiology / electrophysiology department on the other hand sucked. The Doctor we were referred to cancelled and rescheduled our appointment, and then she wasn't even there for our consultation visit. Appointment was for 1:20 pm 10/17/14. It was 3:00 pm before Dr. Grant could see us. The first time I've ever made an appointment with a Doctor and the Doctor didn't show. Plus we were shuffled off to a different room, told we would see a PA. Seemed no-one knew what they were doing. Made for a long stressful afternoon, and my wife who is the patient is having a really bad night of sickness and fatigue now. If you're set on using electrophysiology department, I would advise you to make plenty of phone calls and keep them honest. I'm not sure they are.
