From the first phone call to schedule my appointment to the friendly greeting of Dr.Rao's office staff, I knew I was blessed to be his patient. When I met with him for my initial visit, he listened to me and made me feel comfortable. He didn't rush me and I felt heard. I asked him about himself and I was impressed with his family history where his Father was also a "trail blazer" as a cardiologist. He told me more about his family and his life. I saw him as a great family man and a dedicated professional. He then told me which tests he wanted me to have and which hospital procedure "made sense" given my family history and my cardiac symptoms. He reduced my stress and I knew when I left him that I was in the "good hands" of Dr. Santosh Rao and he would take care of me.
