Pure Cardiology

Doc is fine. Has a different angle which I appreciate. My bro in law is head of cardiology with a massive company. I get the ins and outs of corporate medicine. His admin is HORRIBLE!!!! The Worst. The worst of the worst! All of a sudden I'd get a message - "you have an appointment at XXX date/time". The doc said "well she just sets appointments up if you haven't been seen in a while." Huh, interesting, she is telling me when I am going to show up? Not asking about my schedule. Not trying to schedule an appointment? Just telling me when I am going to show up. What part of concierge medicine does she not understand. Then I'd show up. "Oh, I don't have you on the schedule" (her mistake) after I'd driven 40 min one way. That was the last straw, and I moved on. If you want to have a cash pay concierge medicine business, then offer equivalent service.

Dr. Stephenson is a extraordinary cardiologist with a divine purpose in life to help you to go beyond your critical way of thinking. He go beyond the surface of your health challenges. As a Scientist I am very proud to find somebody like him and his wife. Amazing people that definitely will impact your life! God Bless and prosper this amazing clinic! Dr. Stephenson orchestrated my path to great health. In January l suffered a cardiac arrest and after receiving a pacemaker-defibrillator was sent home to get strong enough to return for bypass surgery. Dr. Stephenson had a plan that avoided surgery while bringing me into the best health I have had in many years. After 9 months my lab tests were in the normal range for the first time in thirty years. I lost 50 lbs while gaining muscle mass. I am able to do just about anything with infrequent pain compared to trying to control very frequent pain before the heart attack. I am so thankful that I avoided bypass surgery and especially for Dr. Stephenson's care!

I've had two exceptional experiences with Pure Cardiology and Dr. Richard Browne-- an initial office visit and an echocardiogram. As background, I've had 4 heart surgeries since 1994- so I'm fairly experienced with cardiology visits. The office visit with Dr Browne was relaxed, thorough and not at all rushed-and every question was answered in great detail. Dr. Browne was in the room during my echocardiogram explaining in real time every measurement and function of my heart. No doctor had ever done this for me in my previous dozens of echocardiograms. I found Dr. Stephenson to be an exceptional cardiologist. His level of expertise is commensurate with his compassionate disposition and his desire to educate his patients so that they achieve optimal heart health through appropriate protocols. As his patient, I have confidence in following these protocols, and saw my cholesterol drop almost 75 points so it's now below recommended levels. That's huge!! I also appreciate having an expert guide me in avoiding unnecessary, VERY expensive and invasive procedures and hospitalization.
