Megan McDonald Wrenn, FNP

I've been so impressed at the time and detail Megan provides each time I have seen her. That has become a rare interaction due the the volume of patients medical professionals see on a daily basis. Her approach and analysis of my current conditions and diagnostics is clear and gives me options, vs. little discussion or sharing of their thoughts. She has my best interest in mind and I've quickly learned to trust her and the best direction to improve my health. I'm so glad Atrium attracts and leverages the best staff to help me navigate my health journey. Thank you Megan for your professionalism !

The visit this past week was my second opportunity to work with Megan with me being a patient at Sanger. She is great. Extremely knowledgeable but at the same time makes you feel like and old friend. She helped me greatly working through my AFib recovery and also finding the most effective combo of medications for blood pressure control.

I wasn't given any attention from my previous cardiologist during a crisis which caused me to reach out to Sanger. I was able to get an appointment with Megan Wrenn in Gastonia. She had a great bed side manner plus an overall care about my issues. Past experiences with cardiologist was to just throw pills at the problem. When I walked in she was very knowledgeable of my heart issues and my concerns and had actually did some research prior to my appointment and was able to help provide me with possible causes and solutions. I had finally walked out of a cardiologist office with answers and possible solutions instead of more medicine. That was the first visit with her and I was sold on moving my care to her. After a surgery I had, I was having issues and a called Sanger and they set me up with Ann appointment and I requested Megan. The same care was given. Very focused on my issues and finding a resolution and answers. The care I received is 10x better than my previous experiences with other cardiologists. If you are not happy with your care where you are currently I highly recommend Sanger Heart Institute and Megan

Megan was very thorough and knowledgeable about me and my condition even though this was the first time I saw her. She listened to everything I had to say and acknowledged it. I will make my future appointments with her when possible.

LIstens well, very gracious, lets you know if she doesn't have an answer for a question that you may ask. Good experience.
