About Dr. Jack Joseph Kuritzky, MD

I became a doctor because I always liked science growing up but didnt like working in a lab. I missed talking to people. Medicine seemed like a great way to combine the two. The best doctors arent necessarily the smartest ones; they are the ones who connect best with their patients. I try to treat patients like they are my own family. Its important to communicate well with the patient and their family so they understand their disease, why we are recommending certain testing, and why certain treatments are important. Outside of work, I like spending time with my wife and three kids. I also enjoy golfing, exercising, and watching University of Michigan and UNC sports (football and basketball).
