WakeMed Heart & Vascular - Cardiovascular & Thoracic Surgery - Cary

After having a very scary surgery and diagnosis, I would not have asked for a better outcome. Dr. Maier was wonderful at explaining the course she thought I should take. She has been watching this lung nodule now for about 6 years and in Sept. 2023 it looked suspect and she suggested a biopsy, upon the results it was determined that it should come out. I was so nervous, scared and unsure. I trusted Dr. Maier and she definitely did not disappoint. I highly recommend her to anyone with a thoracic issue.

Dr. Daw is a phenomenal cardiologist - he is a thoughtful and caring doctor (with a great sense humor). I thoroughly trust his recommendations and I am grateful to be in his care. I must also mention that everyone in his office is professional, courteous and kind!

Dr. Locklear is one of the best physicians that I have had in all of my 85 years. He is thorough in his examination and does not rush in spending time with the patient. He is caring and spends time to fully explain and discuss his diagnosis.

Great Cardiovascular staff. Jimmy Locklear is a great choice for Cardiovascular Health Care. Facility is new and fresh. Staff is friendly and patient.
