I read the reviews and wasn't excited to go for my first appointment here. But I was absolutely delighted with the seamless service. Even finding the placement parking was easy, although Frank, the staff told me that's not typical, I've got lucky. My nurse, Gabe had fantastic bedside manner, extremely knowledgeable, proficient, warm, friendly, really put me at ease. I couldn't ask for more. I saw Dr Lahi & realized I had added to my good fortune for finding the exact right medical team. He listened. He is a straight talker who knows his stuff, very personable. I walked away with a very clear outline of what is next. He has a plan, we have goals. I am very confident in his care & the level of excellence experience here.

Dr Bruce Usher is outstanding ... a throwback to the old days of caring, competent physician specialists who get to know their patients and go the extra mile for them. I've been with him for over 9 years and he has my 100% trust and gratitude.

For 8 months I struggled to find a doctor that would listen to my symptoms and concerns. I was out of work due to my symptoms but doctor after doctor could not find what was wrong. One doctor (after I told him my symptoms and that I would occasionally faint, unable to work) said it could be anxiety and we'd just have to keep an eye on it. FINALLY I was referred to Dr. Mobarek. My hopes were high but expectations low as I'd dealt with another UNC H&V location that was awful but this place could not be more different. Every staff member was so kind and welcoming. RN Gabe took me back for vitals and an EKG and was the first person to ever address my symptoms as what they were- POTS. He raved about Dr. Mobarek and told me they would take care of me and work on a plan to help me. Dr. Mobarek went through my entire medical history for the past DECADE. He actually listened to me, to every detail. He wrote it down, explained things and asked if I had questions throughout the appointment. I've never had a doctors appointment so in depth, where we didn't feel rushed. Then RN Mark came in with a packet of medical information for me and what routines I need to follow for the next 8 months. He sat and explained everything, asked if I had questions and a month later, I called to get help with medical accommodations required by work, and he had the forms ready for me in record time. I cannot rave about this place enough. Or thank the staff enough for listening and actually changing lives.

Deema and the nurse Mark have been excellent for me! They are so responsive and thorough in helping you with your needs. They see me for post Covid dysautonomia & POTS. They both go above and beyond and are very knowledgeable. They're the best doctors I've found since my diagnosis.

At first visit, they taped me a heart monitor. After 2 weeks work, i mailed the monitor to the company and wait for the result report. They said they will call me when they received the report. Another 2 weeks passed, nobody notified me any results. I called them, always robot is talking, and nobody answer the phone for ever. But the bill is in time. Terrible experience.
