What a privilege it is to have Dr. Fox here in Boone. He is the sweetest, smartest, kindest, most relaxed and genuinely caring doctor. He takes his time, listens closely, and explains things so well, and you never feel dismissed, not even for a second. The best way I can describe Dr. Fox and his staff is that it feels like a Hallmark movie, that old-fashioned, small-town kind of care where people have real manners, real compassion, and they truly treat you like a person. Everyone in the office is so well rounded, patient, and kind. You can feel the warmth the moment you walk in. If you're looking for a heart doctor who is intelligent, comforting, and backed by a staff that is truly exceptional, I highly recommend Dr. Fox.

Receptionist is very rude and will not listen to your concerns. We tried for 4 days to reach the office and left message of urgency and the receptionist stated she had not had time to check voicemail after 3 days had passed from the left message. Dr. Fox may be a good physician but the reception is destroying his practice. It is sad to see such poor professionalism in Boone because we need a good cardiologist. I would not recommend this practice to anyone. Especially if you have a urgent need because of the poor response to calls and fax from referring doctors and hospitals.

Dr. Fox is the ONLY doctor that takes time to actually investigate the patient's issues. He explains things in a way that is easy to apply and understand. This is how doctors should treat their patients--not the 5 minute in and out that corporate healthcare has forced on them. He is very kind and cares about his patients.
