Laura Belden, LPN, at Heart & Vascular Center in Boone is the absolute best! She's professional, knowledgeable, understanding, and so nice. She immediately made me feel very comfortable! I can't say enough about Dr. Atkinson! I've been a patient of his for over four years and he's attentive, explains everything so well, and the communication is excellent! Tammy and Jeanne at the front office are great!
Dr Atkinson and his staff are excellent. I always feel cared for. I would highly recommend them to anyone searching for Cardiac Care.
Nurse practioner wont diagnose. She stated arrythmia is not present for a diagnosis where arrythmias are not a criteria... and are actually rare for patients with said diagnosis. Suggested i get more testing even though I fit the criteria with the testing that was done.
Cardiology staff great! Reception staff very helpful and considerate. Quick to check me in. Leslie in the pacer clinic gave me very detailed information about my upcoming pacemaker change out. Dr. Hordes is an excellent physician. Answers any and all questions. If necessary, I plan on flying from Florida to APHS to have my pacemaker changed out. Like the staff here much better that my cardiology team in Florida
UPDATE: I got to see Dr. Squires today. I want to say he is amazing!!! He explained things very well and made me feel comfortable asking questions. I felt heard and I feel safe with the decisions he made. I HIGHLY recommend him if you need a cardiologist! His nurse is also amazing! She is super helpful and very very sweet! The nurse and the ladies at the at the desk are absolutely sweet and caring! I'd give them a million stars if I could. Dr wells seemed like he was annoyed, disgusted even, that I was there or even exist. I felt like he didn't even care what was going on and I felt like he wanted me to shut up every time I tries to tell him what was going on. He made me feel worse than how I did when I came in.
