I particularly appreciate his vast cardiac medical knowledge and experience , and that he has never rushed through any of my appointments. He consistently provides thorough explanations for all my questions, making complex medical information easy to understand regarding my advanced cardiac needs and care. His thoroughness in assessing my health and his proven, effective treatment plan for me are what leave me feeling confident and exceptionally well-cared for. Dr. Tohan is incredibly knowledgeable and experienced in the treatment of advanced heart failure. He tells it like it is, and I like that about him. At the same time, he is a very kind and caring person. I believe he has, in the past, been involved with teams performing heart transplants.
