Dr. Srivani R. Ambati, MD

We L-O-V-E Dr Ambati and her staff. When we moved my mother from Florida, her condition was poor. Dr Ambati reviewed all the medications the Florida Cardiologist had prescribed and made several changes. She carefully monitored my mother's condition and worked with her other physicians, too. My mother's health improved and we managed to avoid putting her on kidney dialysis, too. It's been 2 years now and we are tremendously happy with how well my mother is doing. Finding someone who will listen to all your concerns AND communicate with other doctors is rare. We highly recommend her.

The staff here is friendly and helpful, which made an impact on me while arriving with questions pertaining to my heart's health. The doctors took the time to answer all of my questions and to talk through the immediate and long term process. I have been a patient for over 6 months and have felt comfortable with our course of action along the way. The timing for referral to an EP was appropriate and I ultimately I trust Peak Cardiology with my care. Special thanks to Dr. Ambati for her welcoming demeanor and ability to be present with each interaction.

The WORST experience ever at a medical facility. The office itself is outdated and unorganized. I went months with lots of tests and fees and the doctor never diagnosed- switched to Duke Cardiology and they are fantastic! Unfriendly front staff and rude billing person. I had to call the office multiple times to see if there was anything remaining on my account balance. It got to the point that I had to speak with the doctor directly- and she stated she was frustrated herself with the billing. It has been one thing after another at this practice. I am so glad I took my healthcare elsewhere! Actually deserve zero stars

I have been under the care of Dr. Ambati for going on four years. I sought her for a second opinion with my aortic stenosis bicuspid. When surgery was needed in January, 2014 she referred me to a Rex Hospital surgeon. The whole process went very smoothly and she was kind and supportive when I was under another's care. Today I see Dr. Ambati yearly as I am doing very well. Whenever I do have a question her very capable staff assists me and when I see Dr. Ambati she is one on one and very interested in my care.
