Dr. David Sternheim completed his undergraduate studies at Washington University in St. Louis where he received a Bachelor of Arts, summa cum laude, in neurobiology. He was subsequently awarded his medical degree from Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine in Chicago, Illinois. He completed his internship and residency in internal medicine at Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia. He then moved to New York City where he completed his fellowship in cardiovascular disease at the Mount Sinai Hospital. Dr. Sternheim was recognized for excellence in patient care as well as expertise in cardiovascular imaging including echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, vascular ultrasound, and cardiac computed tomography.
