Northwell Health Physician Partners Adult & Pediatric Cardiology at Woodbury

Have been coming to this practice for years. My husband has been seen by Dr Palla & Dr Boglioli in Woodbury office. Excellent doctors. The Problems arise when you need to make an appointment for any test in the Woodbury office - You must contact the Huntington office. You are on hold for 25-30 minutes before someone picks up the phone. Also there seems to be an issue with the technician for an echo Test apparently they are short staffed. Technician "not available". Cancel moments before scheduled appointment. Just astonished that Northwell would Allow this to happen.

PHONE SYSTEM & ONLINE BOOKING SYSTEM ARE AWFUL . VERY LONG WAIT TO GET A PERSON ON THE PHONE TO SCHEDULE APPOINTMENTS. LONG WAIT TIMES IN OFFICE. WEEKS TO MONTHS TO GET AN APPOINTMENT POORLY MANAGED & RUN. NOT HAPPY WITH LOCATION.

Had a fetal echo apt today -is was very painful !!! The sono lady was pressing my stomach very hard. I could feel baby is moving- trying to get away .Never had that much pain since pregnant. I am positive that my stomach will get dark by the end of the day with bruises. It says 1 .5 -2 hours apt may take , I was hardly handling 35 min . In some point I felt very hot - almost past out . I didn't feel any AC . I asked the lady she said it is on. Maybe 77-80?very hot . Unbelievable. And it's not pregnancy. ( never get hot flashes) usually it's cold in sono rooms , so I know how AC feels. The only reason I went cuz I did -IFV. Will not go again. I worry for my baby now. Doctor herself I guess is ok . She just told me baby is ok. But no empathy from her either. When I mentioned- how painful it was she said nothing. Consider another location if you need to do it .

My cardiologist is a very nice man, accomplished in his field. But I don't think I'm going to be eating boiled chicken for the rest of my life either. It's up to me as an autonomous being to choose a degree of balance in my life. There will be changes though...
