Im 59 years old, have never even been admitted to a hospital, came to find out I have an aortic aneurysm and I need two new valves (Ross Procedure). "Terrified" was an understatement.From the moment I met Dr. Carter, Jenn, and their team I felt completely safe. they made me feel comfortable, relaxed my nerves and we're always available for me on the phone if needed. I had open heart surgery 2 years and 7 months ago done by Dr. Carter. This is the man you want to perform your heart surgery. He saved my life with his expertise. He repaired two of my heart valves, and I feel 15 years younger. He explained everything that he was going to do for me with kindness, confidence, and empathy.

Had a valve repair done a year ago and I did not think I could feel this good. He is a great surgeon and a real pro.

Here's another one who owes his life to Dr Carter! I came in to Good Sam 5 years ago Aug 2019, immediately determined triple by pass needed. No time to google.. no time for second and third opinions...met Dr Carter 1st time right before and then after surgery. No time for pleasantries, just a summary of what was going to happen and let's go. And I just knew from this man, he was gonna take care of me... just that human to human vibe you get, I'm in this person's hands, and I will be fine. Can't really explain it. And I woke up from surgery, felt fine, no pain..nurses had me up and walking. Dr. Carter came in to see me. Explained and detailed surgery. And I all I could keep saying was " Thank you thank you !" He is very nice! his staff made me feel comfortable and very helpful. I owe my life to Dr. Carter! He is the best surgeon!! he is very knowledgeable, professional and explain everything about my surgery to me from beginning to end he took his time never felt rushed, his bedside side manner is outstanding, i would highly recommend Dr. Carter to friend and family.
