They absolutely saved my life. Thank you to Kelly, Leah, Maeve, Karlene, Jeannie, Catherine, Melody, Jackie, Megan, Geri, Raymond, Emily. They absolutely go beyond giving exceptional burn care- they also are the most compassionate & thorough healthcare professionals. They never once made me feel like any of my questions or anything I asked for was an issue. They were kind, and patient, and adept at their jobs. Special shout-out to Nurse Kelly, who should have a TV show made about her. Not only is her bandaging the Rolls Royce of bandaging, but she has masterful understanding of each little aspect of burn care. She also is really cool & funny & the ideal nurse to care for you in your time of need. Nurse Kelly is the best of the best. Leah is simply an incredible nurse with indefatigable patience & kindness & is insanely compassionate. She is the type of nurse you would be very lucky to have. She is extremely good at her job & she is a ninja. Nurse Maeve is simply an incredible human & incredible nurse. Her kindness & compassion & patience & thoroughness of care is tireless! She is on top of everything & is exceptional at her job. She also is very positive & creates a happy environment for patients. Maeve is a truly special nurse. Nurse Jeannie is a truly incredible nurse. I had her once as my nurse. I don't think twice but possibly so. She did a great wrap job of my bandages, and she dealt with me when I was in a lot of pain. She had a lot of compassion for me. She dealt with me on one of the toughest parts of my recovery. She was exceptional at delivering the burn care, attentive to my pain, and a true pleasure to speak to. She is witty, kind, honest, and wise. Jeannie is an absolutely exceptional burn nurse. Nurse Karlene is the absolute coolest & an EXCELLENT nurse. She was my nurse a few times & it always made me so happy when she was because she's so kind & so attentive & patient. Even when she wasn't my nurse, she helped out with stuff I needed just as if she were my nurse. That type of patient care, wow. It's really something. She makes you feel like you're never a nuisance & she is absolutely positive & upbeat & very competent. Catherine spent a ton of time helping me discuss my after care & answered one million of my questions. She is very very knowledgeable, extremely patient, extremely compassionate, and an incredible Healthcare professional. She is a very special person. Megan spent a lot of time Helping me and is very very attentive and very patient, very knowledgeable and exceptional at her job. Emily spent a lot of time helping me, especially with my Discharge. She is exceptional at what she does & very patient. Jackie helped me twice on my visit, at least. She is awesome at her job, really funny and upbeat, and the burn unit is very lucky to have her. Melody answered one million trillion questions from me and NEVER made me feel like a nuisance. She looked at my burns a lot, gave me a lot of answers. She spent so so much time with me helping me & always delivered absolute quality burn care and information & she is very patient and very kind. Geri kept my room very clean & also we spent time Talking & she is an incredible person. My room always was so sparkly thanks to Geri. I hope I didn't spell her name wrong. Thank you to all!!! Best Burn Center. Oh! And they accommodated my vegan diet! The food was great! And the gentleman who helped with the food was awesome. So was the dietician Jeff!
