Dr. Shaik M. Ali, MD

Today I was extremely shaken mentally when my wife and I arrived at Dr. Shaikh's office in Long Island, and the receptionist said she had no record of us. Even after I explained that I had called just yesterday to confirm and we had indeed confirmed our appointment, she still replied that those responsible for communications hadn't sent any message.

My family and I have been going to Dr Sheik Ali and his team including his son who is the vein doctor for many years. It's a nice local location, since we live in the area. He's a very nice man. However, after so many years, of not saying nothing, I have to say the care he provides is below standards. I've never made a review before, but my husband and I and my father have had many situations where his services were not efficient or accurate. On several occasions, test results were not provided. When a patient comes to you for medical help, a doctor should be the one to provide results not a receptionist. Not All visits should require prescriptions or medications. Sad to say we will not be returning to his practice. I'm sorry for those who are fooled by his kindness and look past his quality of care, insurance is the only priority to him. Good luck to those who are still his patients.

Called on Sunday, August 9th regarding medication that was not covered by insurance. Was met with the rudest lady who claimed her name is Mandy M.. SHE NEEDS TO BE FIRED. Horrible attitude, screaming at us for no reason and refusing to provide any information or help.

Doctor is good and the staff are good. But they give too many appointments in the same day. Today I had an appointment at 10am. I arrive at 9.55. And I finished my test 2.26. They don't respect patients time. Last year I did the same test here and it took 2.10 minutes. Today so many people have appointments for the same test. It took longer than expected. They have plenty of patients. My suggestion is if you have too many appointments please let the patients know it will take longer than usual. If someone have time issue they can choose to stay or leave. Don't inject the medicine and then have no choice. I got frustrated and wanted to leave but I didn't have choice. Medicine was in my body. Please try to manage time accordingly and inform upon arrival or during reconfirming. Thank you

Great office the staff works fast but effectively. I feel comfortable and in good care here for my mother this place is a dream place to be treated. Yes at times long wait but the reason is this place is popular due to great service
