I had a cardiac event during the night. The ambulance has a system that connected with the emergency department so they knew what was coming in. Dr. Kahn arrived shortly after I did. I was shocked 4 times and cpr was administered prior to going to the cath lab. Dr. Kahn performed a procedure that opened up the artery and returned blood flow to the heart, thus saving my life. I was in a medically induced coma for 4 days. Between him, PA Matt Fairbanks and the staff at the hospital, treatment and follow up not only kept me alive, my heart suffered no damage. I am told I am a one percenter as people do not survive what happened to me. These folks brought me back. Very grateful.

I'm very happy with my PFO procedure. Dr. Khan did an amazing job. I felt very confident in his knowledge and ability to preform this procedure. Once it was decided that I needed the procedure, the office was amazingly helpful with anything I needed and always answered my calls or returnedthem in a timelymanner. After the procedure I was able to go home that day. The area of entry healed very nicely and I did not have complications. The hardest part is making sure to take it easy for 3-6 months. I would definitely recommend him for anyone who needs this procedure.

Dr.Khan was my cardiologist for an aortic valve replacement last April. Dr. Khan explained the procedure to me fully and answered all my questions thoroughly. He told me the procedure could be completed in as little as 15 minutes. Also, I would have to stay in the hospital overnight to monitor my vitals as a precaution for my well being . The whole procedure from start to discharge was seamless with no complications. I highly recommend Dr.Shahid M. Khan if you need a TAVR (Transcatheter aortic valve replacement) .I am currently 78 years old and after the procedure I feel like 40.

Excellent Doctor. I first met Dr.Kahn in Saratoga Hospital . He soon informed me of the condition of my Aortic valve Stenosis which was causing my Heart Failure. After a battery of tests we decided on TAVR valve. Absolutely Amazing. Dr Kahn is the best , He Listens , He is concerned, truly cares. If you are reading this and are looking for Help.
