My elderly Mother seen him while staying with me. Office in Vassar first off is a chotic mess. Dr came in announcing basically we were lucky he canceled his vacation plans??? Why should that matter to us. He sent her for 3 major tests and did not get back to her till two weeks after her last test was done. Than he did not make sure he had all the results. He did not call her cardiologis for comparison which he is deciding to do now. He also didnt review her records prior to calling. In our opinion he is arogant. with no compassion or bedside manor.

I would like to update my review as Dr Intwla reached out to us after reading my review. I throughly respect that he called and wanted to discuss all the issues we had and listened and took notes so this would never happen again. Some of the problems we had concerned him and some were with the office scheduling and follow through. Dr Intwalla stated he will be meeting someone to discuss these matters. He did sincerely apoogize and understood why we felt the way we did. I am very impressed that Dr Intwalla actually took time from his day to make this right with us . This shows that he wants to do better and make a difference in his patients lives.

Dr. Intwala saved my life by prescribing one additional blood test while in Vassar Hospital ER, to double check if I might have a blood clot, after being seen for a heart flutter (pulse rate of 140). That positive test result led Dr. Intwala to investigate further by prescribing a CT scan with contrast. That's when Dr. Intwala discovered I had a pulmonary embolism, insisted I be checked into hospital for two days so they could get me regulated on a an anti-coagulant regiment. I now see Dr. Intwala for my heart issues and will forever be indebted to him for literally ... saving my life. Thank you, Dr. Intwala. Plus, he's a really nice guy & easy to talk to!
