On July 7, 2025 my Doctor recommended that I go to NFMMC ER for chest pains that rapped around my left shoulder blade. I arrived at 4:09pm and was immediately taken to "Fast Track" where I was asked questions while a Nurse took my pulse and blood pressure, then taken to the next area for an EKG and a chest x-ray. This all happened at a very fast timeframe, they then drew for bloodwork.
Then everything came to a complete halt! I was left in the Fast Track area in a chair while I was still having the pains that sent me there to begin with. I stopped a Nurse in the hall and asked if someone can tell me what was going on, did a Doctor read the test that were taken up to that point and was told, someone will me with you soon. I asked if I can have something for the pain, was told someone would be in to see me soon. No one came in to speak with me with any results, I had to make my own conclusion that it was not my heart, I sure hoped they wouldn't leave me there that long with no help if it was! Finally I was taken into a room with a bed at 8:46pm and again was left to sit and wait for another 60 minutes when a Nurse came to give me pain meds, and shortly after I was taken down to have a Cat Scan done on my stomach area. At that point I was told it could take about an hour before I had results the results, now the time is about 10:15-10:30pm. Again sat in the room waiting until 12:30am and the Doctor, if that what she was came and said they have no diagnosis cause all the test came back negative so they gave me pain meds to go home with but still no idea why it all occurred, I walked out of the ER Department at 1:00am exactly on July 8, 2025. NINE hours after arrival with no diagnosis, just an assumption that I "might have shingles and the rash will appear in a few days! No rash appeared and the pain went away a few days later! Very disappointed with NFMMC and the amount of time I had to stay there with very little help but a whole lot of excuses.

Great experience with my teen son. He was brought in for a laseration to his eyelid from a fast moving baseball at close range. His father brought him to urgent care, who did nothing but wanted to stitch it. Luckily they didn't and he left. From the moment we arrived at ER1, every staff member treated us wonderfully. He received excellent treatment. We didn't wait long to be seen. He was given an antibiotic, wound cleaning and dressed, a CT of the orbital, and referred to come back the next morning to see Dr. Doldan, the Oculufacial Plastic Surgeon. I also watched how others were cared for while we were there. It was very busy, but everyone had great care. I have been to other ER's I'm the past, and they were the best we've experienced by far! I'm grateful for the surgeon and the staff.

Came to the hospital last night and talked to the nurse that was on duty , and she referred me to come see DR.DOLDAN the next day due to possibly needing stitches. I arrived around 10:30 and as soon as Dr.DOLDAN came in the doors he asked why I wasn't being seen yet. Not even a few minutes later I was in the fast trac being stitched up DR.DOLDAN. The stitches were painless and done very good. The doctor was friendly and comforting. DR.DOLDAN even set me up with a immediate IV of medication due to being bit by a dog , so no infection would happen. The nurse's on staff were helpful and friendly, even the training nurses. The nurse named FAITH, was very friendly and helpful. The nurse named FAITH even answered questions I had that's was off the topic of my stitches. FAITH also hooked up my IV of medication and it was quick and done correctly the first time , pretty painless and easy. Overall everything was easy and reassuring due to the nurse's and doctor I seen today. Very Thankful!
