About Dr. Sonika Patel, M.D.
Dr. Sonika Patel is a native of Cincinnati, OH. She graduated Magna Cum Laude at The Ohio State University and subsequently attended Tufts University School of Medicine. She then completed her internship and residency in Internal Medicine at University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore, MD. After residency, she completed her Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship within the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai Hospital Clinical Track where she served as chief fellow for 2 years at The Mount Sinai Hospital and Elmhurst Hospital Center in New York.

While my experience on Monday was good,I was somewhat disappointed that I was losing Dr.Patel as my cardiologist in only my second visit with her.Whomever I get in the future at Weill Cornell medical center,I hope that out doctor - patient relationship will last longer,as the familiarity on both ends creates comfort.
