Dr Rosenson as a lipidologist is doing an above and beyond job treating my severely elevated LP(a). Life saving work! and a very kind hearted good person too. He is proactive and that is rare, but necessary. I am in Medicine and highly recommend him.

PLEASE DO NOT BECOME A FINANCIAL VICTIM OF THIS DOCTOR. On June 21, 2019 I have visited Dr Robert Rosenson for consultation. At the end of consultation the Doctor has prescribed 2 tests (echocardiogram and CT Scan). I have scheduled an appointment at the same facility for July 22, 2019. On August 02, 2019 my insurance provider declined to settle claim for radiology services (CT-Scan) for $920 and $144 with comment "Payment for this service is denied. Based on the information provided and the clinical review, this service is not considered medically necessary". I have reached out to the Doctor's office on August 16, 2019 and was told that the facility's billing financial advisor would be reviewing the query. Until this time, I was of belief that the Doctor has mistakenly omitted mentioning radiology test requirement in his clinical review. The medical billing financial advisor called me and informed that this test (CT calcium score) is an experimental test and so generally not covered under many insurance providers and that they have informed me that this is not covered under insurance before conducting test. I told that no one has informed me that this was not covered under insurance and furthermore if this is "an experimental test" I would not have agreed for the very test. She replied to me that I have signed an undertaking of financial responsibility on the date of test and so I have to pay. 1. I was not told by Doctor that CT calcium score test is an experimental test and not medically necessary for my condition. The fact that this Doctor has not mentioned about the requirement of this test in his CLINICAL REVIEW but prescribed for test CLEARLY shows the FRAUD INTENTION. 2. I was not told on the day of test that this test is not covered under insurance but they silently took my signature for financial undertaking shows that they were HIDING or WITHHOLDING important information from patient for making more dollars. Why should I (patient) pay for the doctor's experimental tests which are medically not necessary even as per Doctor's own clinical review? This Doctor and his practice looks like a CON JOB.

Dr. Rosenson is highly expert and knowledgeable, a great communicator who explains with clarity what and why, and a wonderful human being who has helped me tremendously.
