Kartikya Ahuja, MD, FHRS, is a board-certified clinical cardiac electrophysiologist who provides unsurpassed care at Premier Cardiology Consultants. The practice serves people in New York City, Suffolk County, and Nassau County in Long Isalnd. We have locations in New Hyde Park, Forest Hills, Rochdale, Jamaica, and Richmond Hill in Queens. Dr. Ahuja earned his degree at Johns Hopkins University, where he graduated with Phi Beta Kappa academic honors. He did his medical residency and chief residency at New York University Medical Center in New York. He completed his fellowship is cardiology at Montefiore Medical Center, and returned to NYU Medical Center for his fellowship in Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology.

Went for a second opinion. Timely appointment, nice office, friendly and efficient staff. Dr. Ahuja was very pleasant and helpful. He explained everything clearly. Unpretentious. Professional while personable. Couldn't have wished for a better experience. Highly recommended.
Dr Ahuja is a great doctor. Very knowledgeable and friendly. Sits with us after every visit and explains everything very thoroughly. Most times he would walk us out to the lobby.

My wife had an afib event due to a stomach issue, had a cardioversion, went back into regular rhythm and has been good ever since. Weeks after this in a follow up visit, Dr Ahuja aggressively encouraged her to have ablation surgery on the theory that she would eventually need it anyway. I told him I had 10 cardioversions and 4 ablations and it was premature for her to have the surgery! It has been months and she is fine. We cancelled our appointment two months after that visit and the office repeatedly called non stop! BEWARE
