My father is a patient of Dr. Brener for many years. She is a phenomenal doctor and is always willing to answer any questions without ever rushing him. Recently he went on a blood pressure program. I have to give five stars to a nurse we dealt with Nicole Capone. She was incredibly nice, helpful and understanding. The concerns I expressed were dealt with right away. She was extremely sympathetic and empathetic-the true definition of a nurse. Stony Brook is beyond lucky to have her!!!

I have been a long time patient of Dr. Brener for many years. She is a wonderful, doctor. Always willing to answer all of my questions and really shows she cares. I also have to say that Aaron Braun is incredible. Every single time I or anyone in my family calls & gets Aaron on the phone, it is always a phenomenal experience. Aaron is always helpful, nice and just happy to help. That is extremely rare in todays world. This office is lucky to have Aaron. Thank you, it means alot!

I was referred to Dr Brener from another physician to establish care with a primary care doctor. I could not be happier. All the staff were very polite and professional. I did not feel the least bit rushed during my time with Dr Brener. I look forward to working together to optimize my health.

Dr Dara Brener is an outstanding physician. The progressive and increasing number of patients seeing her is proof. Her office double in size as catholic health services expanded her space which is how I am aware of this. She is extremely REALISTIC. In today's healthcare that is VERY hard to come by. She understands the patient's situation to determine their care rather than by what a textbook says she should do, I wish more physicians understood this. She is EXTREMELY compassionate and unbelievably thorough. She absolutely adores her patients you can just tell by the way she listens and spends as much time with you as she possibly can. She runs a very well oiled functioning machine at her office. With all her office staff an absolute delight. Janice her secretary is warm, helpful and fully grasp her position as she is a pro! Her medical assistants are vibrant and always remember your name and face! I am an RN and for my patients that do not have a primary care physician I ALWAYS recommend. She's an extremely smart women, her experience working in a hospital before owning her own practice is obvious! She also consults you to specialized physicians who she thinks you will get along and work well together. this shows proof of her thoughtfulness and eagerness for her patients to continue with the appropriate care, rather than place you with someone you might clash with and deter you from taking care of your health. I could go on about how excellent of a physician she is! I will always highly recommend Dr. Brener and I encourage someone reading this to make an appointment ASAP!

My husband and I are patients of Dr. Brenner and very pleased to have chosen her as our physician. Not only is she caring and listens to what you have to say, but she walks in with the biggest smile on her face always. I am a cancer surviver and always nervous when I have an appt. however she seems to take all my fears away when she smiles.
