Dr. Aminullah is easily one of the greatest physicians I've had the pleasure of knowing. I was referred by my primary care Dr since I was experiencing frequent heart palpitations (I am not a coffee drinker so I was concerned), and after my consultation with Dr. Aminullah I immediately felt at ease. There's no shortcut to experience, and that became very clear after a discussion with him. He explained the mechanism of heart palpitations thoroughly, and provided clear answers when I had any questions about how to move forward with lifestyle changes/medication etc. I was very impressed by his expertise and would recommend anyone looking for a cardiologist in the Nanuet area to try and see him. He knows his stuff and really cares about his patients. 10/10!

Excellent cardiologist and a truly family-owned practice. From the moment you walk in, the entire team shows so much warmth, kindness, and genuine care. The doctor takes the time to listen, explain everything clearly, and makes you feel comfortable and valued as a patient. It's rare to find a practice where you feel this well cared for. Highly recommend.

The medical practice still uses paper records, which makes transitioning in and out of the provider's care difficult. Front office staff could be friendlier. I think it's his family, which is no excuse but if you're nice to them he'll be nice to you so my advise-flattery. His attitude towards anything not heart-related is laughable; he really is a specialist, where anything not immediately heart is not his problem. The waiting room is abundant but could be more comfortable. Insurance and payment-wise wise he is flexible and will work with you, prior authorizations, and getting tests approved. He accepts Medicare. He can be outdated, especially when it comes to new medications, evidence-based medical practices, and procediures are french to him. But he did his training so I understand why he feels there's no need any longer to keep learning. After med school+residency+fellowship who wants to keep learning? Has an easy time ordering blood tests like a comprehensive metabolic panel but needs help reading results aside from cholesterol and glucose. Can be a tad fatphobic and quick to look for weight as a cause for any health issues. I've watched and heard him violate HIPAA a few times; he may not mean to, but he needs to moderate his volume better.

Any affiliation with this practice will make your eQIP/SF-86 go through a very difficult review, if he was a VA Doc he could expect debarment from service. Debarment from the VA during a physician shortage. Just imagine. All I can say.
