Dr Germano did an ablation procedure for me in June 2021. My experience with him and alllllll the staff at Winthrop was above my expectations. Bedside manners of all the staff from the security guard, nurses, anesthesiologist was above standard. They made me feel like a person and answered all my concerns with details and patience. Highly recommended! 2025 Update: My ticker is still ticking without palpitations! In hindsight this man saved my life. He was the ONLY cardiology specialist that didn't PUSH PRESSURE or Suggest that I follow suit with the masses and jump on the new Covid vaccine. Prior to my surgery I expressed concerns about this new vaccine, that wasn't tested long enough and my concerns about vaccines in the past. History probed that many of them caused more damage to people than helping them. Speaking long-term, of course. I expressed to him that based on my research, this did not sound like a vaccine by definition and that I really didn't want to take it. He listened to me. He didn't jump in and over Talk me or push me to do something that I wasn't comfortable with. He simply encouraged me to make an informed decision and whatever that decision would be, would be ultimately up to me. Again, he was the only cardiologist specialist that wasn't pushing me to take this shot. As I watch many friends and family members die of COVID Vaccine related complications, my heart is just so full of gratitude because I know that the way that he dealt with me about my concerns is what made me stand my ground and put in my retirement papers versus being forced to take a shot that did more harm than good. This man is an angel. I am forever grateful!
