Patient Reviews

Patient

Was referred here by my PCP because I had concerns with leg pain and heaviness. I have a feeling I am dealing with lipedema. I saw Dr Paty. He barely looked at me or actually listened to what I was saying, no real questions for me and just told me to lose weight. He ordered 2 tests, which one came back with an abnormality in the results and I have never heard from him or the office. I had to contact my PCP so the abnormal results were addressed. I will be going elsewhere for a second opinion.

Patient

Very poorly communicated testing results and details for appointments. On 2 separate occasions, I went to appointments to be told they would not have the provider I asked to see available to review results. On one occasion they offered to change the provider to someone I hadn't seen without notifying me in advance, and said it would be 6 months if I didn't go with optional provider to get my results (pressuring me to work with PA). When scheduling my next follow-up appointment, it was to review blood work results and I was told it would be an extensive wait time if I wanted my original provider. I accepted this wait time, to have continuity of care. When I arrived for the follow-up, they gave me another ultrasound and then said if I wanted to meet the doctor to review it I needed another appointment and hence co-pay. I am on my 3rd co-pay without seeing a doctor to review my blood work or the current test. Nobody called in advance to say the doctor was unavailable, and now I missed a day of work and have to pay 3 co-pays to get blood work results. I am paying 2 co-pays to get the ultrasound read. I was told this happens, as they are a much smaller vascular group than others in the area. It seems the policies are meant to maximize insurance payouts. Results are not reviewed within reasonable timeframes. This leaves patients feeling unwell, confused, and unable to get a second opinion if necessary. Very disappointed, as I was a patient of a well run vascular group when I lived in another area. Scheduling multiple appointments, delays on result reviews, the provider changes, and pressure to change provider from the doctor to a PA at the last minute is something patients need to report to their insurance companies. I hope the office figures out a better plan, for patient care, as this is unacceptable.

My husband's been dealing with leg pain for a long time his pcp office has been trying to diagnose the problem. The one specific Nurse in this office was completely rude nasty unprofessional. He almost left the appointment because of her horrible bedside manner. Not sure why this nurse was so very unhappy today! This approach to your patients sets the tone for the entire practice!

Patient

Doctor Mehta completely disregarded concerns and didn't take them seriously. Then told I had to wait to book appointment 6 months out even after explaining I'm in daily pain. Front desk staff and nurses were all really nice. Just don't see Dr. Mehta. Will be finding a different doctor who actually cares.

Patient

Doctors will let you wait in the office for over two hours with no explanation or apologies. They simply do not care about you or your time here.
