Very good Doctors and PA. Nursing staff is mostly good. Some office staff members are inconsiderate , bordering on unprofessional, others are great. 4 stars because while I would give them 5 the continued poor treatment by staff is indicative of a management issue.

Dr Timson and Tufaro have been exceptionally helpful. It was on Dr Timson's advice that I moved back to LI to care for my elderly mother. Her PT had Dr Timson as a family doctor as a child, so he's got a good reputation and following. He's always helped out when mom needs a referral or prescription for care elsewhere as well. Sometimes it seems they're quite rushed and my elderly mom would like things explained more slowly; I found that more often with Dr. Tufaro though she's been available in emergencies when Dr Timson wasn't, hence has been terrificly helpful. . If you need to call the office, you better like the Moonlight Sonata, because you're going to be listening to it in entirety multiple times. It has regularly been an issue trying to reach someone on the phone, sometimes with 45 minute wait without an answer; they've encouraged me to call back if that occurs, and that has worked out OK. When I got through the staff was almost always quite helpful and they've been working for these doctors since they had independent practices. The assistants are wonderfully friendly and make stressful visits easier to cope with. However today Summit instituted a new phone call center. This is a nightmare. Despite the fact that I filled out a form as caretaker for my mom there, nearly always have to explain her medical history and manage her appointments, despite the fact that I have a separate account to access her portal, the new call center refused to give me ANY information and is located far from the actual office on Park Avenue. I had several rudimentary questions for an insurance form that weren't really even private information. The new receptionists don't know the patients and the call center phone tree is cumbersome; it has many more tiers to enter information than before, info they'll just ask you to repeat if somebody finally answers. This is a sure way to make sure your patients don't receive care - it's hardly an effort to insure privacy. While I was reluctant to agree to switch PCP to mom's new assisted living, this inexcusable frustration makes the change easy. Summit is ruining the practice of some fine doctors, and they might as well say, "Don't let the door hit you on the way out."

Been going there for a few years now. The staff has always been pleasant to be around, and listened to me whenever I felt something was wrong with me. Dr. Tufaro has always shown empathy and helped me in every way possible. Combined that with how nice and caring she is, this will always be my trusted medical facility to handle all my needs.

Save yourself the aggravation, go to a private practice or a reliable doctor, summit health is corporate conglomerate garbage. I came here with an issue I was very concerned about, doctor wouldn't even take a guess, said let's wait for blood work. I called the office a week later because my condition got worse I wanted to speak to the doctor, no call back. On week 3 now I haven't gotten my results from my blood work, I called they said they would email them to me...no email, next guy says check the portal... portal is empty. 3 weeks into my issue and I just have to start from scratch with a new doctor, get new bloodwork...TOTAL WASTE OF TIME.

The office staff are all very pleasant. I have been a patient of Edin for the past seven years. Edin is very knowledgeable i recommend him to everyone. He gives you his complete attention. He answers your questions and listens to what you say
