We had an excellent experience! I am so happy to have found Dr. Thanjan. She was kind, answered all our questions and provided additional understanding when needed. She was fantastic with our son and I'm so happy we found her. Another perk was the other staff we worked with for the ECHO and EKG were just as amazing, kind and friendly. Don't walk, run to make your appointment because finding any doctor that is compassionate, kind and doesn't rush through their appointments are very hard to find these days.

I'm truly grateful that Dr. Thanjan is my child's cardiologist. She has an excellent bedside manner and creates a warm, nurturing environment for her young patients. My child actually looks forward to her visits. Her team, especially Barbara the scheduler, is outstanding--always responsive and attentive to my questions and concerns. Choosing Dr. Thanjan at NYP was one of the best decisions I've made for my child's care.

Dr. Maria Thanjan has been my son's cardiologist, and I truly cannot say enough about the care she provides. She is an extraordinary doctor and a wonderful person. Dr. Thanjan is amazing! She made us feel very comfortable. She answered all my questions very patiently and provided very detailed (yet simple) and reassuring responses. I could tell how empathetic she is. She is highly skilled at what she does and has a quick eye to assess and establish a response. I really appreciated that she didn't "rush" the appointment and she thought about many things that I might be thinking of as a parent even before I shared my own questions. Overall, we had a pleasant and informative conversation. Dr. Thanjan has a very busy schedule, so our appointment wasn't so soon, but in our case it was worth the wait.
