It's a very bad service never ever bring the kids here. I'm the customer almost 6. 7 years but I've been today. I have appointment. One and a half years old boy the girl very bad situation today. I bring the kids here even then I'll look at my kids. They ask insurance insurance insurance They will give me bad situation. They respect the people. They don't respect the customer. It's a very bad the register girls even doesn't know how to speak to people.

I wanted to share some feedback about our visit today 11/20/2025. When I called earlier to reschedule my daughter's 11:45am bloodwork appointment, the staff explained that the office is on lunch break from 1-2pm. When my daughter woke up sooner than expected, I walked in around 12:20pm and mentioned that I understood the lunch break but wanted to check if it was still okay to be seen. The front desk staff asked me to complete the e-check-in, took the co-pay, and told me that someone would call us shortly. We waited for about 20 minutes with no update. When I asked how much longer it might be, another staff member responded coldly, saying, "I told you we're on lunch break from 1-2pm." This was confusing because I had already acknowledged that information, and the front desk seemed to indicate we could be seen before the break. It felt dismissive, especially while trying to manage a hungry 13-month-old. I completely understand that the office has a schedule and a lunch break. My main request is for clearer communication and a more empathetic tone so families aren are NOT left unsure or waiting unnecessarily with little ones. I hope this helps improve the experience for other parents. Thank you.

My two children are seeing Dr. Kacin for over 10 years. However, I've decided to leave this practice. I got a $975.00 bill for my son's flu visit. They are charging $560 for a nasal flu test and $415 for the office visit. After insurance adjusting, they charge me $456.89. They didn't tell me a nasal flu test would cost $560. To dispute this bill is hard. The phone number on the bill is connecting to Optum billing department. They asked me to call Dr's office or my insurance company. The lady Mrs. Kin(or Kim) in charge of bill from the Dr's office didn't answer my question. She asked me to have my insurance company to do a 3 ways call with her. So I called my insurance company and set up the 3 ways call at the time Mrs. Kin suggested, but she didn't answer the phone. Tried to dial 3 times, no one answered the phone. My insurance company left voice message. But no one contact me. I sent many messages via MyChart billing, but were ignored or only answered as noticed, checking. The only Email I am getting from them is a over due notice that even not allow an reply(noreply@optummedical.com). My disputing of this bill is totally ignored. As a loyal customer for over ten years, I have been paying their high amount of bills without delay, paying their $10 charge of forms many times. This bill is the last straw that overloads the camel. I would not recommend this practice to any parents.

Dr. Chemla is a gem. He is so soft spoken, gentle, and has always answered any questions and eased any concerns that I have had. My previous pediatrician retired, and I wanted to find someone younger that my 13 y/o son would be comfortable with, which is paramount. I'd highly recommend Dr. Chemla, and the practice. They are all very helpful and attentive.
