This doctor was very hard to talk to when asking questions, he got very defensive as if why am I asking him questions? He was snappy and acted indifferent to my concerns. While I still tried to pursue answers he acted indignant and called a nurse in saying I was being loud and acted like he needed assistance when in fact I was just firm in my questions. I think he felt challenged. He at that point suggested I find another doctor and I totally agreed with him on that! I don't need a doctor who is arrogant!

It's taken me a while to write this, but I feel it's important to leave fair and honest reviews, especially when it comes to medical providers. I went with my husband who was having cardiac concerns and when I tried to help him speak up for himself, Dr Hicks asked me "are you a nurse?" That rubbed me the wrong way, as the concerns were serious but not taken seriously in my opinion. Less than two weeks after this appt my husband was gone from a heart attack. I would not recommend Dr. Hicks. My husband might have still died, of course, but I don't feel he listened to the concerns, I feel he minimized what we told him and I feel there was no sense of urgency.

He is the best. Dr.Hick cares about his patients. Our whole family has him as a doctor.

The best, most trustworthy cardiologist.
