Arnot Ogden Medical Center

The nurses were phenomenal. I went for abdominal pain. After waiting for hours, I went to the restroom. I hadn't been able to eat previously at home due to my condition and felt quite hungry. When I returned, my husband told me that the doctor said to consume the whole sandwich and drink. I never saw this doctor. She never examined me. She went me home immediately after entering the room. My condition continued to get worse for the next week. I was charged just under $800 for a single piece of turkey, a slab of cheese, and two slices of soggy bread. I would never trust this place in an emergency. I told the doctor a scan she wanted to do might kill me due to my contrast allergy and she did not care. She shrugged and smiled. Save your time and money. Go to Gutherie where they care. Never had a bad experience there, neither has anyone I've ever known.

Dr. Hill was the best emergency room doctor i have ever seen. She took me seriously, listened intently and explained everything in detail to me. Nurse sam was also amazing, they both made me feel safe and seen. Thank you both for the great care I recieved last night.

The service is unbelievable. The Arnot health call center is an absolute joke and completely pointless. The walk in on romelt dr has not answered the phone in three days to answer questions regarding my sons previous visit. My wife had to make 4 visits to the ER in elmira before she got the care she needed after being told there's nothing wrong. I would recommend driving to Guthrie even if my life was on the line.

My mother had been in the hospital in 2021 when she went septic and was in arnot for 6 days without a bath or help to clean herself, they would not give her a toothbrush, the nurse was rude and yelling at her to move from one bed to the next when she could not get up. Today my father had to go in because he had heart surgery and was concerned it was infected at one incision. The nurses were rude and showed very little empathy or care for the wound. I will not allow either of my parents to ever go to this hospital again.

My son was in ICU at this hospital and wanted him moved to a better hospital that had treated him before. They got a social worker to contact me and talked me out of it due to this hospital needing money. I will be contacting insurance not to pay bill. Then sent my son to their partner drug rehab which does not give patients phone messages and keeps them so doped up they don't know what is up and what is down. Do not use St Joseph or arnot Ogden. They are unsafe and need to be reviewed by medical board.
