I come here because of the nurse practitioner Stephanie. She is absolutely wonderful. The call center however is not. When I call in for my meds they say they are documenting my messages, but everytime I ask for a call back when my meds are sent, they don't call me back. I have an issue with this because at the office where I work at, we call our patients when their meds are sent.

I have read the reviews and this is not the experience I had. I highly recommend this office. I recently switched as my previous doctors office was very difficult to make an appointment with the doctor you wanted and I did not like the staff. I called Medical Associates and I was able to get an appointment with no problem. Ana was absolutely professional and friendly. She was able to draw my blood with no problem even though I'm a hard stick. Knowing that she is there I don't have to have a fear of having blood work done. Dr Dickinson is an excellent doctor. I have never had such a thorough exam. He took the time to talk to me and I didn't feel rushed like he had to get to his next patient. The girls at the front desk were polite. I was able to schedule my follow up appointment that works for my schedule. I am happy I found this medical practice and I am confident I made the right choice.

I have no issue with the staff or doctors. My major complaint is the new call center. The frustration experienced with just trying to leave a message is unparalleled. After going through a virtual assistant which is annoying enough your are then connected to a call center employee who is obviously working from home, based on the sounds of fighting children in the background. After an annoyingly polite conversation where you believe your message was understood, the message is either never given or given incorrectly. Unfortunately, you will start to lose many patients, most likely me, and you will put patients who are totally frustrated with this experience especially the elderly to not leave messages and put their health in danger. I don't know whose idea it was to have this, but it really should be ended asap. I don't know whose idea it was to have this, but it really should be taken away.

My first review was rather unfavorable although there are some new people in the reception area that are making a big difference. Dr. Dickinson is by far the best doctor. My family and I love him. He truly cares about your health and well being. Your not just a number here. He takes the time to get to know you. He has a great sense of humor and lovely bedside manner.

I recently switched to this office because Dr Dickenson moved here from his other practice. I will say that the front desk and the hold times every SINGLE time you call them has made me look for another office. You can call them at 8am or 3pm and the average wait time is about 7-10 minutes and that's on a good day. It's just ridiculous. They also do not let you get your blood results over the phone so you always have to go in to get them and pay a co-pay. They won't schedule your result appointment for almost two weeks after the blood is drawn. This practice is just not convenient nor helpful when it comes to the receptionists. I also had the same issue that others have had with getting tons of random tests done on my annual physical and then receiving a bill from my INS company saying they do not cover it because it was not needed. I wish I loved this office because the doctors are good but I can't get over the rest of the issues.
