UPDATE: I finally got the chance to get my physical and everyone from the front desk to the Doctor himself was wonderful. When it comes to the actual quality of my examination I am thoroughly impressed by their work! OLD: Office called us nearly an hour after scheduled appointment to inform us that we were cancelled due to weather conditions. Would have gladly accepted this had they given us any sort of warning the day before that this was the case but instead we were given this information AFTER we had already arrived. As a potential new patient, this review may change based on the quality of care, but that would require my first appointment to actually happen.

Great doctor, and his nurse Jo is fantastic. The main reception is another story. You call and you are a number not a person and you are treated as such. Very indifferent attitudes and just unfriendly in general. I was on a first name basis with my previous Dr. and his office staff. When I called I just said my name and they knew exactly who I was and booked an appointment. I needed to bring anything they informed me of what it was and that was it. Here they won't even let you have an appointment unless you identify yourself nine ways to Sunday. I recently had a car accident and have stitches that need to be removed. Sat on hold and was refused an appointment until I provided all my insurance info immediately over the phone. I just hung up and I am going to look for a new Dr.

If I could give no stars I would. I have worked in doctor's offices all my life and NEVER have I encountered a doctor that cares any less than this one. My 90 year old aunt has been a patient of Dr. Richman for years. The times I've had to call the office for her to get an appointment have been impossible. If and when you get a live person they are indifferent, uncaring and useless. If you try to leave a message forget getting a call Back. That being said I called today because my aunt's aide has been calling and leaving messages and saying it was urgent for days. No response. She finally called me to try. I was able to get through to a receptionist and explained that my aunt was having a problem and was actually hallucinating. I was put on hold and after she spoke with the "doctor" I was told his schedule was full but we could try going to another doc that she's never seen in some other office. I explained that I was out of town and her aide was unfamiliar with the area and that my aunt refused to see someone she doesn't know. I requested that since she's sick and I felt this was somewhat an emergency could she pls be squeezed in. I was told no but maybe she could call Monday?! I asked to speak to the manager and was given the same answer. I then said this is totally appalling and she offered to let me talk to the medical assistant but she wasn't in her office so I could leave a message. I said no thank you because I know from experience this office doesn't call back. I begged them to just bump someone who wasn't sick a few min and squeeze in my aunt who is and was told we can't. Who needs a doctor that won't take care of you when you're sick! I instructed the aide to take her to the emergency room which she is going to do. But I would never recommend this doctor or any of his associates to ANYONE! I wouldn't even bring my dog there. You couldn't do worse if you threw a dart at the phone book and picked someone at random. This is the only time I've ever written a review but I have never been so disgusted in my life. If you go to this place good luck.

Couldn't ask for a better doctor or office staff. Everyone is pleasant on the phone and in person. I receive callbacks within a reasonable time. The in office care is efficient and you're treated like a human being. Dr Richman takes the time to hear your concerns and is open to different ways of treating your issue(s). After years of dealing with Caremount and the nightmare it's become, coming here is a breath of fresh air. You truly feel like your best interest and well being are top priority.

This is a negligent careless doctor that does not do his job. His patient just died of covid and he had NO CONTACT with him while he was in the hospital after calling and leaving him repeated messages. We needed guidance and he could not be bothered to return a call. This individual had been his patient for decades. This is inexcusable. Find a different doctor if you are looking for one.
