Patient
Arrogant and uncaring. Dominic Basile's wife has been unpleasant, and he's no better. She's the "boss lady," making decisions and butting into everything, even when it's not in the patient's best interest. This caused stress not only for the patient but also for the family. It was such a hassle to get home care for my dad in addition to a chair that goes over the toilet, which was necessary per the physical therapist. Laura (his wife) insisted that the hospital should have arranged this. They didn't know what he needed, apparently. When I informed the receptionist if my dad would fall because they refused to sign off for the bathroom chair, they approved it. Plus, Basile is arrogant. He was rude to me when I asked questions about my father's blood work results--his sarcasm stinks. My dad is no longer a patient here, thankfully. He now has a doctor who cares, listens, and answers questions; one who reserves his sarcasm with patients.
