My most recent experience with MF Cardio and MF medical records was plain awful. I had an EKG done on Sept 25, Monday, because I have a cataract surgery on Oct 12th. I requested the lady checking me in at cardio that the EKG report needs to be faxed to my GP and my eye surgeon ASAP. Fast forward 1 week, no doctor received any EKG report! So my GP could not hand me my medical clearance for surgery today as planned. Desperate I went into MF Cardio and was met with stern faces as if they had no idea these EKG reports actually had to be seen by the doctors mentioned. They did not even know who the GP was after me having given all the info, Fax no etc. I asked for a personal copy and was told that I can't get a copy of my report - excuse me! Yes - I was sent to medical records where I asked how come the doctors did not get a copy? A young white lady informed me it was not her job to stand in front of a fax machine and ensure the EKG goes - it's her job to put the report on the fax machine and then chance takes over. Machine tries 3 times - if it fails - your report's not going to go! So MF medical records or cardio takes ZERO responsibility for sending the reports. I asked for a copy for me - I had to fill in a form saying what, why etc and then was told this will come in 7-10 days - some contractor sends it. Why are these guys such jerks? Or is this racism? I am a brown skinned Indian elderly man and a youngish white woman has no time to take care of my needs? At any rate - I had to call my eye surgeon and it was his office who called MF to get one copy! I don't know if my GPs office had any luck - they are not as efficient as they should be. Long story short - Millard Fillmore Cardio and Medical Records are terrible! If you have to work with them - may the Lord be with you.
