Patient
I went here in Summer 2020 (during COVID) and I thought the staff was hard working, the office had modest wait times (given how much of NYC has LONG wait times) for appointments (both in waiting room, and duration of days you had to wait to come back in), the woman Dr. Rosa Carrera who I worked with had good bedside manner, took time to explain the tests and her analysis of the results and took my COVID vascular concerns seriously. My only complaint was that the male doctor did not wear a mask and it made me extremely uncomfortable, and you could tell staff would close the door to rooms and take masks off to eat/talk/relax (understandable) but with an airborne virus that causes heart problems, that was frustrating, as I didn't feel particularly safe. Now in 2022, I don't know how they are doing but I hope they are still masking. I need a cardiologist again but am hesitant to return given not rigorous masking during peak pandemic. Would still recommend on basis of competency however; if you are casual with your mask usage obvs I recommend changing that stance but this place would surely not be troublesome to you.
