Patient
Just like the other reviewer here, I waited nearly three months for an appointment with Dr. Polizzi just to have my appointment cancelled by staff with less than 24 hours notice. I was told that Dr. Polizzi is not taking new patients, and I was not given an opportunity to reschedule, nor did I get a response to a request to help me find another doctor. I refuse to believe that Dr. Polizzi herself decided with again, LESS than 24 hours notice, that she was too busy for an appointment that I had booked over two months ago. It is incredibly difficult to find treatment for the conditions that Dr. Polizzi treats. I heard great things about her as a doctor and was so excited that someone might actually, finally be able to help me. To be blown off and spoken to extremely disrespectfully by the office staff was heartbreaking. As the other reviewer noted, many patients who would be trying to see her are fully disabled or have very limited functional capacity. The latter applies to me. I am now back to square one for finding treatment, when I could have gotten on other doctors' waitlists months ago had I known this would be the outcome. Honestly, I really hope Dr. Polizzi sees these reviews and considers a staffing change. You can't treat people like this, let alone people who have to reorganize their whole lives to get themselves to a doctor's appointment. To the staff, shame on you.
