I waited this long to make a review because I just didn't feel like it was right to rate them so low because I never even got to see the doctor. Reading the reviews, it seemed like the wait time was long. Ok, I'll just come a little bit earlier and wait it out. Took the day off and everything expecting to take all day. Everything seemed fine, the receptionist was kind and informative. The first gentleman that took my vitals was kind and extremely instructive. It did take long, which I was prepared for. What I wasn't prepared for what having to be met with the nurse/tech that checked my echo. I gave her the benefit of the doubt, so many patients and repetitive tasks (the gentleman before also had a repetitive task but was not like this). From the moment I met with her, she was sarcastic. She got annoyed at me and gave vague instructions and since it's my first time, I didn't really understand. I was like, "is this normal?" She kept sighing and rolling her eyes and I really tried not to let it get to me. But at some point, this was to the point of uncomfortable. I then told her to stop and then refused to continue with her and told her all the things before of how she was treating as the biggest inconvenience. She said "you want to doctor to come here?" As in insinuating that he's a man and would make me more uncomfortable but at that point I would have preferred a man than that woman and said, "yes." She left the room and came back and said, "let's continue ," and I was like,"where's the doctor." And she kept insisting on continuing after multiple times repeating that I refused to continue with her and I'll wait for the doctor. She left again, and again kept insisting and at that point I thought that I guess I won't be seeing him today. I was in tears at that point out of frustration and humiliation. I told her I was done. They took me to a room near the receptionist and at that point I just wanted to go home and go elsewhere. I told the receptionist I am done and left. I got similar procedures and no one I saw after ever treated me this way and whether it was my 5th time, were always clear and always treated me well. Making sure I was familiar with every step. This was definitely not a normal interaction.

Yes, the wait is long. Yes, the office needs a bit of refreshing. But people like me choose to wait because he's a GOOD doctor. If you want a good doctor, come here! My advice would be to schedule your appointment on a day where you have nothing else going on. Bring a good book and relax.

On this 2nd day of the new year I was so excited to keep my appointment with my Cardiologist Dr Wallerson.. he has been a calm in my storms of life for many years.. he treat my husband and my young adult children will also be his new patients.. it's been times I thought was dying from heart issues and his dedication to my health has kept me me going. He even referred me to a therapist who did not charge me on the basis of being his client. I thank him for his care, and compassion . The whole staff is amazing! Thank you Dr Wallerson for you service to me.

I absolutely love and recommend Dr. Wallerson. There is never an appointment where I'm disappointed in him. His bedside manner is impeccable (some of his staff need to take note, just saying). Dr. Wallerson works on an basis of excellence and he is truly concerned and cares about his patients. He is a hidden gem on East Chester Rd.

He does such thorough work with extreme professionalism! My family raves about him. There was a tiny wait to get on his list. But after my first appointment, I understood why! He's the best in the area!!! I won't see anyone else. Thank you, Dr. Wallerson and your entire staff for all that you do -Ms. Robb "Aileen"
