Not a good place at all, very disappointing. Staff translate the wrong things to the patient, cancel your appointments, want to send you prescription without even knowing if they got the test results back. They will tell you that they will send the referral by the mail and you will never receive it if you don't call asking for your referral they won't even noticed it was never send in the mail Not recommended. Great doctor not good staff

Long story short, if they don't call you up after five minutes, go up and make sure they actually checked you in. I got there, and the two women behind the counter were helping other patients, so I signed the sheet and sat down to wait. I waited about twenty minutes, watching as people who came in after me were called up and let in. There are two check-in kiosks as you come in, I figured maybe I was supposed to check in there as well. As I started putting my name in, one of the women behind the counter told me that I just had to sign the clipboard. I told her I did, showed her where I signed in. She nodded. I sat back down. I waited another 30 minutes, no one called me up. Let it get to an hour. Let it get PAST an hour. Finally went up and asked what was going on. I asked politely, just to be clear about it. They had not checked me in. The woman I asked was not the one I talked to previously and had not been up there when I initially signed in, so as annoyed as I was to have sat there patiently for nothing, when she apologized and said she'd get me checked in as soon as possible, I told her I would call and reschedule as I left. I will talk to my PCP and see if there is another place I can go to first. I'd rather not go back there. There were a lot of people there, 15 or so, so I'm not going to say they were just sitting there not doing anything, but I still sat there for nothing. If I hadn't said anything I might still be sitting there. If you sign in and they don't call you up within maybe five minutes, go make sure they're doing what they're supposed to do.

This practice is awful. Went on recommendation of my PCP. I have uncontrolled high blood pressure on 8 medications. Constant chest pain and shortness of breath. Dr. D'Gate is so dismissive of my complaints as tests have showed some concerning things but not enough to do anything about. I suggested a couple of additional tests he says no you don't need them. Your out of breath and chest pain because your fat. Lose wait and you will feel better and blood pressure will go down. Meanwhile I have Left Ventricular Hypertrophy and a 4.2 aortic Aneryism and he says my symptoms are because of my weight. Totally rude and so unprofessional. If I could would give him and the practice 0 stars I would. Stay away from this practice.

This practice is a disaster in literally every sense of the word. I am appalled at the behavior of the staff at the desks in both the front and the back. They are incredibly rude and clearly incompetent and when you call them out on a mistake you just watched them make they blame someone else. Pathetic. They refuse to ever even look at you they just talk at you in an extremely condescending tone as if they're somehow better than you ? Then you have Mr know-it-all Dr. Deutsch. He has dismissed LITERALLY everything, every question or concern my husband or I have ever had, and I have no clue how this person sleeps at night. My husband recently had some stents put in and things are only worse yet all he has to say is "see? I told you. Everything is perfect! It went perfect!" (Aka: please praise me I did perfect, I am perfect) and "no you couldn't possibly be sick due to any complications. This is something you caught in the hospital." No sir it most certainly is nothing like that at all and the urgent care doctor even laughed at your negligence and urged my husband to go to the ER. Unfortunately, since we live on the east end stony Brook Southampton is the only somewhat close hospital to us and neither of us are stupid enough to go there. Even though I persuaded him to go to Riverhead or Good Sam he wanted to wait and see the doctor first because he's been with him so long he thought he could trust him but unfortunately even he is now able to how little his doctor cares about him he has tried to advocate for himself but is too scared the doctors fragile little ego will be bruised and he will be ousted from the practice. I ensured him a professional who cares about their job or their patients would never do this but he seems pretty convinced which makes me think he's had some experiences with this doctor that have already proven this to be the case. It's so sad and so pathetic how fragile these doctors act, how giant their egos are, and how little they actually care about the patient. It's clear they're just trying to get you out of there ASAP, and not because they care about giving the next patient even the time of day. This used to be a good practice supposedly but it has now been run deep into the ground from terrible doctors and staff who couldn't care less about their patients. I just thank the universe for each and every moment I have to be with my husband before this horrible disease takes him away from me and I just wish he had good doctors, with good bedside manner who were willing to treat him with the dignity and respect he deserves so he can live a long happy life for as long as possible. Instead, we're stuck going to a million different tests all over Long Island and driving minimum 4 hours a day whenever there's any sort of appointment because they refuse to work with him knowing how far we live.

Can the receptionist and some of the other staff be more friendly and say thank you and you're welcome? Maybe but the bottom line is that I'm alive and it's because of the doctors at this office. Despite me feeling generally well, Dr. Gidseg picked up on something during our conversation and suggested a test Sure enough I had blockage and Dr. Deutsch did the procedure. He could not have been more professional friendly, and he put me at ease right away. He explained the procedure in a way that I understood exactly what was going on. The outcome was outstanding and I feel great thanks to the competence of the doctors here. Can some people at the front desk be more friendly yeah maybe. Bottom line is I'm here to tell my story. Thank you Dr. Gidseg and Dr. Deutsch and the whole staff at Suffolk Hart group.
