I am beyond pleased and so grateful of all the work that was put into my successful surgery. I am giving this hospital 5 STARS because of the time, attention, compassion, care, professionalism, and major comfort I have experience from Nurse Samantha Hertzman in the Women Health PACU unit. She went above and beyond and I am so thankful. I really hope this hospital knows how valuable and a major impact she had on me with regards to my good thoughts of this hospital, despite what I see from other reviews, Samantha was amazing.. From the time that I was admitted by a staff member who kept my spirit uplifted to the time of the surgery, it was all a smooth transition. Everyone was kind and helpful. I've never been to this hospital ever in my life. Thank you to my doctor and staff for making this experience very good but extremely comfortable. Thank you thank you thank you.

I recently delivered my baby at SSUH and I can't say enough about how amazing my experience was. From the moment I walked in, every single nurse, doctor, and staff member made me feel safe, cared for, and supported.Their kindness and patience they showed me will stay with me forever. I left the hospital not only with my beautiful daughter in my arms but also with so much gratitude in my heart for the people who were by my side. Thank you to everyone at labor & delivery, you made this experience everything I could have hoped for and more. Thank you to nurse Joan, Maria, Elizabeth, and all the other nurses you were amazing but I can't remember everyone's name. And to the special nurse who made my baby a cute hat, you are so wonderful.

This was our first experience at South Shore and we couldn't have been more impressed. The entire staff was welcoming and kind from the valet at the start of our visit till the end of the day when my wife was brought to the car. Special thanks to the Nursing staff especially Samantha and Tiffany for taking amazing care for my wife on a difficult day.

I delivered my son here and If I could give 10 stars I would. The maternity ward is immaculate, every single nurse and staff was amazing and so caring. This was my first pregnancy so I was obviously super nervous and not sure what to expect. They put me at ease immediately and I cant wait to come back for my second! Thank you so much. I'm SHOCKED this hospital has 2.5 starts.

I will be honest, not knowing anything about a hospital you have a scheduled c section at is scary. And googling that hospital to see a 2.5 rating is scarier. But I'm writing this review to express how amazing the staff and care team are at this hospital. Every single nurse and doctor I met were amazing. I was super nervous, and scared and they did everything to make me comfortable and it worked. The nurses that took care of me were all wonderful and very good at their job. 10/10
