He is the editor of "Clinical Scenarios in Thoracic Surgery", and has published several articles in the field of surgery. Dr. kalimi was designated America's Top Surgeons for 2011 by the Consumres' Research Council of America and is board certified in by the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Thoracic Surgery. Dr Kalimi replaced my aortic valve in December of 2023 and here I am 4 months later a new person, and feeling amazing just 2 days after my surgery back in December of 2023. I highly recommend Dr Kalimi for any type of heart surgery. Dr Kalimi also repaired my mitral valve in November of 2023!!!

Posting this review on behalf of my dad. Dr. Kalimi saved/changed my dad's life. He replaced his aortic and mitral valve. The surgery and his team were seamless and their professionalism and dedication need be mentioned because it was nothing short of FIVE STARS. My dad had surgery on a Monday morning and was home by Saturday - with zero pain. He only took pain medicine once the day after surgery. Excellent surgeon. Dr Kalimi performed my husbands' two valve surgeries. . The first time in 2011 was one valve and the second was in 2022 with two valves. He is a wonderful, caring and thorough doctor. The care at south Shore University Hospital was nothing short of outstanding. The staff in Cardiac Thoracic Care - each and every one - was so, so impressive, caring, thoughtful, knowledgeable and was there every second my husband needed them. At my husbands check up appointment with Dr Kalimi I thanked him and also mentioned the entire staff and how proud he should be of them. He was.

Dr Kalimi brilliantly repaired my mitral valve 2 weeks ago today! I am healing very well and have had absolutely no pain since I have been home. I'm doing some things around the house and outside. Just being careful not to overdo. My scar is minimal which U am so thrilled about! I cannot say enough positive accolades about him. I'm so grateful that my cardiologist recommended Dr Kalimi to me!
