Patient
DR. Orechi seemed competent and efficient; however I found it was almost impossible to get someone to change an appointment. I was being referred to disconnected phone lines. VMs that were not returned offices that claimed they did not have the authority change my appointment. my Original appointment was scheduled at the Albany office and was changed last minute to the Troy office ...10 miles further. I finally drove to the Troy office and waited a while while the employee appeared to be on personal call and then told to sit in the waiting room till she was finished with her call. Finally I called the patient advocate number listed on the website and she called back ironically stated that I need to call the Albany office. Some help! The problem seems to be systemic with St Peter's . I went to Dr. Gardner's office, an affiliate of St Peters, and found it impossible for the Pharmacy and myself to get refills . Finally, I went to a St Peter's Lab and they refused to tell me if they accepted my insurance? Most people going to a doctor will confirm that the doctor or clinic accepts their insurance and I find such a request to be not only reasonable but necessary . Growing up, St. Peter's represented a place to be trusted. Today I would not trust them to wipe my butt!
