I was very impressed with Dr. Scott Purga. A real "people person" who seems genuinely concerned with the health, well being and in providing the best possible care for his patients. He listens intently and thoroughly addresses any and all concerns. He doesn't just bury his head, nodding void of eye contact- while scrolling or typing away on his tablet. I wish all my care providers were as attentive during my appointments.
Capital Cardiology is a busy practice. Their docs, techs & PAs/NPs are very efficient & generally kind & professional. Very little waiting to be seen & easy to schedule diagnostics & get results quickly if you are willing to go to any of their sites. Dr. Purga is polite, kind & reassuring. I would give the practice five stars if I wasn't waiting for a call back regarding clarification of a record access request for nearly two months, after leaving multiple messages.
Dr Purga is a professional, compassionate, personable and patient physician. I have never felt rushed. I always feel heard and no question is scoffed at. His explanations are easily understood by a nonprofessional. I am very thankful he's my doctor and trust him overseeing my health journey.
