I was referred to Dr. Proffitt by the Santa Fe Wound Clinic. Dr. Proffitt examined my chronic venous ulcer wound, asked questions about treatments provided by previous medical practitioners (before the Santa Fe Wound Clinic), and explained why the previous treatments were not successful in healing the ulcer. He is currently working with the Santa Fe Wound Clinic and after the ulcer is healed will provide treatment to "fix" any veins which still require treatment. Dr. Proffitt is refreshingly no-nonsense and direct. I have great confidence in his judgement.
