Dr. West was scheduled to do a procedure for me, but he didn't show up after I had been gowned, prepped and waiting for over an hour. His staff also couldn't locate him. I learned that he left the hospital to go close on a home instead of honoring my appointment and scheduled procedure. Another kind doctor stepped in to perform the procedure so I wouldn't have to wait hours to see if Dr. West was going to come back. Dr. West isn't my doctor and will never be. What a horrible way to treat a patient, and his staff, who are left to explain to the waiting patient why the doctor put his needs first and left everyone hanging. Completely selfish and unprofessional. I hope he treats his staff better than he treats his patients.
